MATT SHAFRAN: Hey guys, I want to let you know about a new ordinance that apparently just passed which is effective April 7th at 12:01 in the morning. If you are a Miami Beach resident and you work or you’re a customer at a restaurant, grocery store, or a pharmacy, then at all times that you’re in that establishment you must wear a mask that covers your mouth and your nose. If you do not wear a mask covering your mouth and your nose at all times, then you can be arrested for a misdemeanor.

This is a new ordinance that was effective April 7th and should be effective for about 30 days. It’s only in Miami Beach. And if you don’t do those things, you don’t follow the law, they can arrest you for a misdemeanor. If you need any other information on this or you have any other questions, as always please feel free to reach out to us at Weinstein Legal.
